The VeloCity spring 2010 semester is coming to a close and what better way to end off a summer of hard work, success and invaluable lessons learned, then with a BBQ!
Next Monday July 19th from 4-8pm at the Accelerator Centre in the R&T Park in North Campus, VeloCity will be hosting a farewell BBQ to end off our Bootcamp as well as regular VeloCity program. The Bootcamp program has given 8 bright, young entrepreneurs from UBC, Queens and Waterloo the opportunity to experience what it truly means to live the start-up life. This spring semester has been filled with countless sleepless nights, numerous lessons learned and more pizza and pop than these entrepreneurs ever could have imagined.
What have these students been working on, exactly?

They are currently raising money for the well-known and loved Mel’s Diner; currently at a total of 35 contributors and $1165 raised of their $10,000 goal. Check out what GroupVestor is all about for yourself next Monday beginning at 4:30 pm. http://www.groupvestor.com/mels
